Mr. Subhajit Waugh, a scientist (physicist) working in India, has claimed (based on strong evidence) that physics and cosmology are in crisis due to an incorrect model of the universe. His proposed expanding globe model of the universe unifies physics and cosmology, and comes close to the "Theory of Everything." Waugh uses the globe analogy to explain that, although the universe has a true center, it is not located anywhere. place of its three-dimensional (3D) surface. This model can also answer "Where is the universe expanding?" which the currently accepted model cannot. Recent studies (Ref. 1, 2) present strong evidence for a closed and finite universe. Serious flaws in the Standard Model of Cosmology are highlighted (Ref. 3, 4) that require a paradigm shift. Physics also faces crises, which is publicly accepted by physicists (Ref. 5). General Relativity (GR) and Quantum Mechanics (QM), the two pillars of modern physics, are incompatible and bitterly contradictory (Ref. 6). However, nature does not use two rule books, but rather uses two points of reference. view. There are two frames of reference (two points of view) in Waugh's model of the universe: 1) the point of view of the center of the universe (from which simultaneity is absolute and there is absolute universal time) which gives rise to Quantum Mechanics. 2) Our point of view from the surface of the globe (from where locality is absolute; the speed of light is the upper limit and remains constant for everyone). Waugh claims that Einstein's concept of the 4D space-time continuum is the greatest error of science (Ref. 7). In reality, "relativity" is about being trapped in the three-dimensional surface of the expanding globe universe. Relativity moves into the realm of quantum mechanics with a decreasing size scale because nature's point of view begins to dominate as space and time exchange roles. The transition takes place from subluminal (3 1) to superluminal (1 3). Relativity is an "inside the light cone" phenomenon, while Quantum Mechanics is an "outside the light cone" phenomenon. Waugh highlights the erroneous mathematical assumptions underlying the science (Ref. 8).
