More than 300 attendees gathered on February 16 and 17 in Madrid to participate in the 1st DIGITECH CON Cybersecurity Congress to learn first-hand about the latest trends and challenges of the connected world. The objective of this event by DIGITECH has been to create a space to share knowledge and experiences in cybersecurity by expert speakers, from ethical hackers to cybersecurity managers from leading companies and public institutions.
Among the topics discussed, the most important was the challenge presented by the impact of Artificial Intelligence, hardware hacking, the effects of ransonware and other forms of cyberattack, the hacking of technological devices and developments at the legislative level. All this, with the help of experts such as Javier Rodríguez Zapatero (President of DIGITECH and Digitalent Group and Former Director of Google Spain, Portugal, Turkey and the Middle East), Román Ramírez Jiménez, (Founder of Rooted Con and Director of the Cybersecurity Master at DIGITECH ), Tomás Isasia, (Academic Director of the Cybersecurity Master at DIGITECH), Pedro Cabrera (CEO at EthonShield), Josep Zamorano (Pentester at S2 Group and professor at DIGITECH), Arancha Jiménez (Head of Cybersecurity, Services and Products at Eviden) or Daniel Zapico (Leader of Cybersecurity Services for the Financial Sector at IBM). During this 1st DIGITECH CON Cybersecurity Congress, attendees had the opportunity to participate in keynote conferences, practical workshops, networking and a round table moderated by Román Ramírez (Director of the DIGITECH Cybersecurity Master) and composed of members from different invited companies, such as Eviden, IBM or BBVA, in which emerging topics in cybersecurity such as Artificial Intelligence and the latest trends in data protection, prevention of cyberattacks and legal and regulatory framework.
