Safeena Husain recognized as 2023 Wise Education Award winner for her work with Educate Girls
DOHA, Qatar, Nov. 29, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, President of Qatar Foundation, spoke at the opening of the 11th edition of the WISE Summit taking place on November 28 and 29 in Doha, Qatar, under the theme “Creative Fluency: Human Flourishing in the Age of AI.”

Over the years, Educate Girls has mobilized over 1.4 million girls to enroll and supported over 1.9 million children in their learning in India. Using a precise targeting method using AI, Educate Girls can reach the same number of out-of-school girls in five years as would otherwise take 45 years. Through a network of more than 21,000 community advocates in some of the country's most marginalized communities, the organization has been working to break the intergenerational cycle of inequality and exclusion.
