Madrid, February 12, 2024.- The biggest X-Shot show arrives at intu Xanadú. From February 16 to 25, the Madrid shopping complex will set up two spaces to enjoy and live two different experiences of this popular game that will test the skill and aim of both children and adults.
Thus, in the first of the zones, up to 40 players between 5 and 16 years old can participate to battle and compete as teams in eliminatory events. To guarantee safety, glasses and a launcher with foam projectiles will be provided so that players can develop different game dynamics within this space, such as capturing the captain of the opposing team or catching the flag.
To this space we must add another for those over 5 years old, in which a maximum of twelve people every fifteen minutes will be able to use six targets at which to aim with the launchers and foam projectiles. Both areas will be located in Plaza Xanadú (upper floor and ground floor) from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., except on February 19, 20 and 21, accessible only in the afternoon.
Passes to the national final
From February 22 to 25, intu Xanadú will also host the first X-Shot Marksmanship Championship of the Community of Madrid. In the aiming area, there will be two free targets during the first two days so that anyone who wants can participate. The scores of all participants will be recorded and the 60 players with the highest scores in those two days will qualify for the finals to be held on February 24 and 25.
Players will be divided by age range (5-9, 10-13, 14-17, and 18+) and will compete with those in their same group. The members of the first category will compete in the final on Saturday, February 24 at 12:00 p.m., followed by children from 10 to 13 years old at 5 p.m.; while the next day, Sunday, February 25 at 12:00 p.m., it will be the turn of the 14 to 17 year old category, and at 5:00 p.m., participants aged 18 and over will compete.
The winners of each of the four categories will be awarded a €200 voucher redeemable for X-Shot products, along with a participation certificate that the 60 qualified for the final will receive. In addition, the three finalists in each category will have a secure place to compete in the First National X-Shot Marksmanship Championship.
