Madrid, March 20, 2024.- As prescribed, the RDL comes into force on March 20, 2024. 6/2023, which approves urgent measures for the execution of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, in matters of public justice service, public function, local regime and patronage (BOE 12-20-2023).

The legal office of María del Mar De Villa, in the practice of Procuracy for more than twenty-five years, has already integrated these digital efficiency measures, both at the level of specific training of its human team, and at the technological level. Thus maintaining its vocation of effective service to its clients, in their representation before the different judicial levels. Among the new features introduced, it is worth highlighting the use of existing technological advances in communication, in order to streamline the processes followed before the Courts in our country.

In this sense, Art. 129 bis,1 indicates that the acts of judgment; Views, hearings, appearances, statements and in general, all procedural acts, will preferably be carried out through telematic presence, provided that the judicial offices have at their disposal the necessary technical means for this. This dynamic comes to respond to the problems of speed in judicial matters, in response to the rights of the citizen.

Likewise, through the “justice folder”, the citizen, whether a legal entity or not, will have access to the files in which they are a party or interested, and respond to and process communications made to them in relation to them.

As far as the Attorney General's Office is concerned, among others, the “Electronic Judicial File” represents an important change in the existing judicial management dynamics, by largely replacing the power to obtain a copy of the records. The file will be developed through scrupulous attention to the general principle of data orientation, which gives direct access to the use of Artificial Intelligence in the field of Justice. The hearings and other procedural acts, carried out by video conference and media Telematics constitute, among others, the digital efficiency measures that come into force as of March 20, 2024, by virtue of the provisions of the RDL. 6/2023.
