The debtor, father of a large family, had a work accident that made it impossible for him to work for a long time

Ceuta, March 15, 2024.- The Court of First Instance No. 1 of Ceuta has issued the Benefit of Exoneration of Unsatisfied Liabilities (BEPI) in the case of a couple that has been exonerated from a debt of 74,000 euros. The case has been processed by Repara tu Deuda Abogados, a leading law firm in Spain in the Second Chance Law. SEE JUDGMENTAs the lawyers of Repara tu Deuda explain, "their state of insolvency originated in the request for financing to celebrate their nuptials. Over the years, they grew to become a large family. Unfortunately, the debtor had an accident at work which made it impossible for him to work for a long time, so his purchasing power and his ability to repay drastically decreased. Faced with this situation, the debtors had no choice but to relegate the payment of the credits behind the ordinary and recurring expenses of each month". The Second Chance Law came into force in Spain in 2015. As the years go by, there is greater awareness of the existence of this legislation, intended for the cancellation of debts of individuals and the self-employed. One of the keys to succeeding in the process is to put yourself in the hands of a law firm. It must be said that, recently, Repara tu Deuda Abogados has exceeded the figure of 200 million euros exonerated to people from the different autonomous communities. Javier Cárdenas, client advocate at Repara tu Deuda Abogados, collaborates with the law firm in disseminating this legislation. "We are facing a mechanism - the lawyers declare - that allows people who are ruined to start a new life from scratch. For this same reason, it is essential that it reaches the greatest number of individuals and self-employed workers possible." The office also analyzes the contracts signed with banks and financial entities. In this sense, the objective is to check if there are abusive clauses for the cancellation of credit cards, revolving cards, mini-credits, loans and mortgages and to be able to claim from Cofidis, Moneyman, WiZink, Carrefour, Vivus, Banco Santander, CaixaBank, BBVA, Banco Sabadell, myKredit, Kviku, etc.
