Madrid, February 27, 2024.- Securitas Direct, a leading company in the protection of people, homes and small businesses, has closed its 30th anniversary in Spain, protecting almost seven million people in our country. To do this, more than 2,000 people monitor its 2.1 million connected alarms from the largest and most modern Alarm Receiving Center (ARC) in Europe and one of the largest in the world.

Securitas Direct's purpose of protecting people has been driven by two important healthcare solutions that the company has: with its Senior Protection® service it has continued to protect more than 136,000 older people and has served more than 1, 23 million signals. On the other hand, through its comprehensive protection system Guardian Verisure, the company has protected more than 370,000 people (35.6% more than in 2022) and provided 14% more accompaniment than in 2022.

In addition, its focus on the total protection of people has allowed the company to attend to 10% more real signals in 2023 than in 2022, of which one in ten were emergency cases that they attended to in close collaboration with Emergency Services. Emergencies, thus demonstrating the importance of their role in healthcare.

Technology at the service of people

Likewise, 2023 has also been the year in which it inaugurated its 'Security Experience Center', an experiential space that houses its latest innovations. And, throughout its thirty years of history, the company has devised and put on the market innovations that today are standards for the industry.

Thus, Securitas Direct has continued to promote the development of the private security sector. Proof of this is PreSense™, alarm generation based on anticipation, capable of detecting intruders in less than 20 seconds. As well as the recently awarded Product of the Year 2024 in innovation, ZeroVision, for its anti-occupancy technology that generates a situation of zero visibility that prevents intruders from seeing, and which prevented 1,700 thefts the previous year.
