The ACIX Technical Consulting project has obtained the highest award in its category at the 9th edition of the Mitsubishi Electric 3 Diamond Awards, held at the Teatro Real in Madrid
Madrid, December 14, 2023.- Madrid's Torre Watson has received the highest award for energy efficiency at the gala of the 9th edition of the 3 Diamond Awards from Mitsubishi Electric, a leading air conditioning firm. The event was held at the Teatro Real in Madrid, with the journalist Matías Prats leading the presentation, and brought together more than 300 professionals.
In this edition, six projects have been awarded, out of the 56 presented, which have stood out as the most efficient buildings in Spain in two categories: projects of up to 200 kW and those greater than 200 kW. Among them, the iconic Watson Tower of the Madrid skyline stands out, a project by ACIX Technical Consulting, which has obtained the 3 Diamond Award in the category of more than 200 kW. It stands out for its innovative production system with various compression and condensation technologies, which allows the simultaneous operation of a high-security industrial space with comfort systems, distributed over more than 15,000 m2 on 16 floors.
The awards recognize four fundamental axes: Efficiency, Innovation, Design and Indoor Air Quality. During its nine editions, more than 500 projects have been submitted to the contest. The jury for these awards is completely independent and is made up of relevant people from the country's sector.
