Powerball jackpot jumps to $229M with no big winner in Wednesday drawing

With no big winner in Wednesday night's Powerball jackpot drawing, this Saturday's jackpot will be now worth an estimated $229 million.

Wednesday's winning numbers were 9, 43, 57, 60, 64 with a Powerball of 10. A winning ticket would have netted nearly $209.7 million.

The jackpot has been inching up since the last winner claimed $121.6 million in Pennsylvania on Dec. 17.

Powerball drawings are held at 10:59 p.m. every Wednesday and Saturday.

The odds of a $2 ticket hitting the jackpot are more than 292 million to 1. It's roughly a 11,688,053 to 1 shot to match five numbers but not the Powerball.

Powerball is played in 44 states, Washington, D.C., the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
