The Court of cassation gives the judge the possibility to release a prisoner if he finds that the conditions of detention of the latter are unworthy, in a decision released Wednesday.

This arrest comes following a decision of the european Court of Human rights (ECHR) in January, which had condemned France for its overcrowding.
