The european Union decided on Friday to remove Morocco from the list of countries exempt from travel restrictions due to an upsurge of cases of contagion by the Covid-19, has announced the Council of the EU in a press release.

Morocco had been placed under surveillance during the last review at the end of July and Algeria had been removed from the list of these countries, due to an increase in contamination in this country.
