The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office confirmed to KGW-TV that the snowboarder, who got separated from a group, had been found safe.

The snowboarder's tracks disappeared into the Little Zigzag Canyon. Sheriff's Office spokesman Sgt. Nathan Thompson said this is an area where people often get lost.

The snowboarder, still unidentified, reportedly did not have a cell phone, GPS or any supplies and was wearing dark clothing.
