Bomb threat to Warrensville Heights High School not credible, district says

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio - An anonymous bomb threat sent to a Warrensville Heights High School administrator Thursday has been deemed not credible, the district said.

While the students were dismissed at their normal time, all after-school activities at the high school were canceled as a precaution. Warrensville Heights police conducted a thorough sweep of the school property using bomb-detecting dogs, and no threat was found, school district communications director Alexia Harris said.

The high school will be open as usual on Friday morning, Harris said. Extra law enforcement officials will be on-hand.

It remains unclear who sent the threat to the school administrator, but police are actively investigating the incident, Harris said.
