Eleven passengers walked through an unmanned security screening area at Kennedy Airport Monday morning, including three people who set off alarms yet still got through, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The security lapse occurred at the Jet Blue terminal in Terminal 5, when the TSA opened a screening lane shortly after 6 a.m. yet failed to immediately assign screeners.

“The screening lane was unmanned, but passengers didn’t know, so they started going through it,” a source said.

When the TSA became aware of this, agents reviewed video surveillance and went through the airport looking for those individuals so they could be screened. They were not found. It wasn’t until about two hours later that Port Authority cops were notified despite a protocol that they immediately be alerted. The Port Authority then flooded the terminal with their own cops but still couldn’t find the passengers.

“They boarded any number of unknown aircraft to unknown destinations,” a source said. “And the biggest problem is TSA took two hours to notify the Port Authority.”
