Criminal damage, South Woodland Road: At 1:15 p.m. Jan. 27, police were called to the Mandel Jewish Community Center, 26001 S. Woodland Road, where a man damaged several lockers in the men's locker room. The man told police he was upset when he couldn't open his locker.

Police cited a Cleveland man, 37.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 3:50 p.m. Jan. 25, police arrested an East Cleveland man, 52, for stealing merchandise worth $149 from the Microsoft store at Beachwood Place mall, 26300 Cedar Road.

The man was also found to be in possession of merchandise from three other mall stores.

Theft, Chagrin Boulevard: At 1:20 p.m. Jan. 25, an employee of Marshall's Department Store, 24065 Chagrin Blvd., reported Dumanbet that a woman stole merchandise worth $263. The woman was not apprehended.

Disturbance, Cedar Road: At 1:30 p.m. Jan. 25, security escorted from Beachwood Place property a mall employee who had been involved in an argument with another man.

The following day, the employee went to the police station to report that he had been injured when being removed from the mall.

Criminal damage, Chagrin Boulevard: Sometime between midnight and 9 a.m. Jan. 26 someone damaged a bathroom door in a common area at the DeVille Apartments, 23305 Chagrin Blvd. The suspect also discharged a fire extinguisher onto an apartment resident's auto.

Traffic offense, Cedar Road: At 3:05 p.m. Jan. 26, police stopped a woman's car as she failed to yield to a school bus. It was then found that the woman's driver's license had been forfeited. The suspect, 25, of Shaker Heights, was cited for both offenses.

Threats made, Park East Drive: At 9:15 a.m. Jan. 26, a staff member at Podiatry Inc., 3733 Park East Drive, reported that a patron's spouse made a threatening call to the business. At the staff's request, police called the woman and told her to have no further contact with the office.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 28, police arrested a Beachwood woman, 22, for stealing merchandise worth $115 from Sephora at Beachwood Place.

Theft, Central Parkway: On Jan. 29 it was reported that someone stole two light bars from vehicles parked at the Beachwood Buick & GMC dealership lot, 25975 Central Parkway. The value of the items stolen was listed at $1,677.

Theft, Cedar Road: At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 29, police arrested two girls for stealing merchandise from Sephora at Beachwood Place.

A Cleveland Heights girl, 16, was arrested for stealing goods worth $270, and a Shaker Heights girl, 15, was arrested for stealing items worth $230.

DUS, Park East Drive: At 2:15 a.m. Jan. 29, police stopped a car driven by a South Euclid woman, 20, in the lot of Residence Inn hotel, 3628 Park East Drive. The woman was wanted on a Lyndhurst police arrest warrant.

It was also found that she was driving with a suspended license and an open bottle of liquor.
