Police: 17-year-old chased into home, shot in Southwest Baltimore

A 17-year-old man was chased into a home and shot in Baltimore's Allendale neighborhood overnight, police said.

Just after midnight Thursday, the man, who was seriously injured, was found inside a home in the 300 block of Lyndhurst Street. Police said he was chased into the home by an armed suspect and was shot inside.

Due to the seriousness of the victim's injuries, homicide detectives responded are investigating.

Police Thursday also released the names of two recent homicide victims.

Davon Williams, 28, of the 1900 block of Baltimore Street, was killed Wednesday in the 1800 block of West Saratoga Street.

In that shoting, police got tips that the suspects might have run into a home nearby. Police had the home surrounded around 3 p.m. Wednesday and it was considered a barricade situation.

Police took several people out of the home who said they hadn't seen the suspects. Hours later, the barricade concluded without the capture of the suspects.

Sherman Carrothers, 42, of the 5900 block of Glen Falls Avenue, was also killed Feb. 8 inside of a home in the 2800 block of Kirk Avenue.
