CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Today at 11 a.m., cleveland.com will post a live video giving a behind-the-scenes look inside the first round of judging for the Cutest Cat in Greater Cleveland contest.

A five-person panel of cleveland.com staffers will be narrowing the photo submissions, going through the pool of roughly 3,500 kitties down to the 100 Cutest Cat finalists.

How in the world will they get to just 100 finalists from all the cute fur babies?

We invite you to watch part of the judging process today at 11 a.m., when we will broadcast from inside the meeting room on cleveland.com's Facebook account. Be sure to follow cleveland.com on Facebook, and to ask any questions in the comments section of the broadcast.

The 100 cutest cat finalists will be announced March 15. Then it's entirely up to the readers, who will vote in online polls to determine the Top 10, then the ultimate winner.
