After a fire attack on a house in Ulm with a Turkish vegetable shop and a mosque association, police arrested four men under heavy suspicion. They were Syrians between ages of 18 and 27, and police now shared same. One of men thus stood up to deed which had been committed on 19 March.

The men were arrested on Wednesday for time being, and at request of Stuttgart Public Prosecutor's office on Thursday y were brought before judge. The investigations, including motives of suspects, still persisted to authorities.

Over past few weeks, several mosques, cultural centres and shops with Turkish background have been target of fire attacks and or attacks nationwide. In some cases, investigators assume that Kurds are behind deeds. The reason for tensions between Turks and Kurds is, among or things, offense of Turkish military to majority of Kurds inhabited city of Afrin in norrn Syria.

Even in case of fire attack in Ulm, authorities assume a politically motivated act. According to investigators, suspected perpetrators threw two Molotov cocktails against house. One of bottles bounced off a window on ground floor, behind which re is a room of mosque association.

Because eight people were in building for Tatzeit, authorities investigated for attempted murder and attempted heavy arson. Three of detained men are to be stopped at Tatzeit near crime scene, fourth should have procured adapted devices.
