Russia: Lesbian riot activist arrested in protest in Moscow

A member of Russian women's punk band, Lesbian Riot, was arrested in front of building of domestic intelligence (FSB) in Moscow. Previously Marija Aljochina had unfolded a white cloth with inscription "Happy Birthday, Hangman!". In this way she protested against Russian secret Service, whose predecessor organization KGB was founded on 20 December 100 years ago.

According to Russian news agency Interfax, authorities accuse Aljochina of participating in an unauthorised rally. Anor lesbian riot activist, Olga Borissowa, said she herself could have escaped, but Aljochina and photographers were arrested. Aljochina remains in police custody according to his own information and is to be brought to a judge on Thursday. You're threatening up to two weeks.
