The actions of Trump and his bigoted close advisors, Steve Bannon and Stephen Miller, are the tactics of tyrants. How so?

Tyrants:

• Assail the free press and media. They state half-truths or downright lies. They erode the public's faith in reporting.
• Attack the independent judicial system and its judges.
• Demonize and prey upon the most vulnerable in our society. Tyrants create scapegoats to consolidate power. It is no surprise that the Muslim ban was one of the first executive orders out of Trump's White House.

We must stand up to Trump's bullying, his lies and efforts to turn our country into a sink of oppression. We cannot allow him and his cronies to roll back so many decades of struggle to make ourselves a more just and humane society for all.
