Jim Barbieri’s recent letter criticizing Obama (again) is a continuation of nonsense. Actually, Obama was one of the better presidents of the last half-century or so. Millions of people have health care, there are more jobs, unemployment was lower, and the economy was better off than under his predecessors.

The fact that he was able to get so much done while being the most disrespected president in history because of his race was remarkable. He wasn’t perfect, but he was pretty darn good.
