The Italian champion of handisport Alex Zanardi, very seriously injured there nearly two weeks, is still in induced coma and intubated, has informed on Tuesday the hospital of Siena in the aftermath of a new operation to the brain.

"Twenty-four hours after the operation, the patient has clinical conditions, the stationary and the stable evolution from a neurological perspective, with a table, which remains serious," wrote the hospital Santa Maria alle Scotte in a medical bulletin issued in the afternoon.
