Bethlehem Catholic wrestling team turned a 6-5 lead into a 38-5 advantage and then a 50-23 victory over District 7 third-place North Allegheny in a PIAA Class 3A semifinal on Friday night at the Giant Center in Hershey.

The Golden Hawks will face Nazareth in an all-District 11 final at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Giant Center in Hershey. Nazareth beat Council Rock South 45-19 in the other semifinal. Bethlehem Catholic beat Nazareth 40-20 in the EPC final on Jan. 28 before falling to the Blue Eagles 33-24 on Saturday in the District 11 final.

Turning points: With Bethlehem Catholic leading 6-5 after two bouts, the Golden Hawks put together four pins, a technical fall and a decision to stretch the lead to 33 points.

Niko Camacho had a pin in 3:40 at 285, followed by a pin by Dillon Murphy in 0:48 at 106, a 3-1 decision by Kenny Herrmann at 113, a pin by Zach Glenn in 0:36, a fall by Ryan Anderson in 1:17 at 126 and a 15-0 technical fall by Jarred Papcsy in 2:57.

Top performers: Jody Crouse opened the match for Bethlehem Catholic with a pin in 2:24. Camacho, Murphy, Glenn and Anderson added pins for the Golden Hawks. Papcsy had a technical fall for Becahi. 

What it means: The Golden Hawks moved to 17-4 on the season. They will look for their second straight state title in 3A. Bethlehem Catholic won four straight Class 2A titles from 2011 to 2014.
