Fernandes fell 7-4 to Bridgewater-Raritan’s Van Miller (ranked #2 in the state by Wrestling Full Circle) in D-16 final but does not drop for such a loss. Abbas qualified for Region 4 to continue his run of improvement. Connelly won D-9 and drops here from 220, but can’t quite get in the top 5, though he could well with a good run at Region 3.
