Jokic (hip) to return after 3-game absence

Nikola Jokic will return for the Denver Nuggets against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, after missing three games because of a strained left hip.

"He's good to go tonight," Nuggets coach Michael Malone told reporters at practice. "It will be good to have him back."

Jokic was injured last Thursday against the Phoenix Suns. He went down without contact under the Phoenix basket with 1:47 left, laying on the floor for a while as the entire Nuggets team surrounded him. He finally stood and limped to the locker room.

Malone said that Jokic will be on a minutes restriction against the Bucks "but nothing crazy."

"It's not like a 10-minute restriction," Malone said. "Those guys (Jokic and Emmanuel Mudiay) will be able to play, and play plenty of minutes. If we have to get them out, we will."

Mudiay returned on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, after missing five games with a back injury.
