Oregon Ducks 3-game winning streak snapped with loss to Colorado in Pac-12 women's basketball

BOULDER, Colo. -- Haley Smith made senior day memorable, turning in a double-double, scoring her 1,000th career point and leading Colorado to a 76-66 victory over Oregon Sunday afternoon in Pac-12 women's basketball.

The senior scored 23 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and got the Buffaloes off to a fast start by drilling a deep 3-pointer to give Colorado a quick 6-0 lead they never relinquished, taking a 25-8 lead after one quarter.

Alexis Robinson finished with 14 points and Makenzie Ellis and Kennedy Leonard each contributed 13 points. Leonard also grabbed 10 boards.

Colorado (15-12, 5-11) hit 50 percent from the field (28 of 56), including 7 of 19 from deep.

Oregon (18-10, 8-8) had its three-game win streak snapped as well as its three-game win streak against Colorado.

Ruthy Hebard had 24 points for the Ducks. Sabrina Ionescu contributed 16 points as Oregon shot 43.9 percent from the field (25 of 57).
