Henrik Lundqvist made a season-high 43 saves, Michael Grabner scored twice and the New York Rangers beat the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 on Tuesday.

Mats Zuccarello and Oscar Lindberg also scored to help the Rangers win for the sixth time in eight games and give coach Alain Vigneault his 600th career victory. Brady Skjei and J.T. Miller each had two assists to help New York beat Anaheim for the fifth straight time.

Lundqvist gave up fewer than three goals for the sixth time in his last seven starts, going 6-1-0 in that stretch.

Sabres 5, Sharks 4 (OT): Evander Kane scored 1:05 into overtime and Buffalo overcame a three-goal deficit in the third period. Ryan O'Reilly had a goal and assist, while Kyle Okposo and Matt Moulson also scored for Buffalo. Jack Eichel set up two goals, including Kane's winner. The Sabres rallied from a three-goal deficit to win for the first time since a 4-3 shootout victory over the New York Islanders on Dec. 27, 2014. Chad Johnson stopped 31 shots in regulation and then turned away Pittsburgh's Phil Kessel and Sidney Crosby in the shootout. Michael Frolik and Micheal Ferland also scored. Kings goalie Peter Budaj turned aside 16 shots in losing for the second straight game.

Blue Jackets 3, Red Wings 2 (OT): Seth Jones beat goalie Petr Mrazek 3:22 into overtime. The Blue Jackets ended an 0-1-1 skid. Detroit snapped a two-game winning streak. Julien fired: The Bruins fired Stanley Cup-winning coach Claude Julien with the team in danger of missing the playoffs for a third straight season. Assistant Bruce Cassidy was named interim coach. Boston has lost two in a row and six of nine and fallen out of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Julien was the longest-tenured current coach in the NHL, starting with the Bruins in the 2007-08 season. He went 419-246-94 in 10 seasons, including two trips to the NHL finals and a Stanley Cup title in 2011. The Bruins lost in the finals two years later, and the year after that earned 117 points and the Presidents' Trophy before losing in the conference semifinals to archrival Montreal. Last season, Julien became the all-time Bruins leader for wins by a coach.
