Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 15-year-old girl from San Antonio.

Kiara Soto was last seen on Jan. 27, according to a statement from The Center for Search and Investigation for Missing Children.

She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

"She is a beloved daughter whose friends and family members are pleading with the public to help bring her home," said Lexie Stephens, regional director for The Center for Search and Investigation for Missing Children, in a written statement.
