FLEMINGTON - A 27-year-old Bloomsbury woman who was charged with aggravated assault for attacking two Pattenburg Rescue Squad EMTs in 2016 has been named Hunterdon County's fugitive of the week, the prosecutor's office has announced.

Brittany Berger

This is the second time Brittany Berger has been named a fugitive of the week. The first was in 2015 when she was wanted on criminal mischief and burglary charges. She was taken into custody in August of that year. No information on the status of those charges was available.

Berger was charged with aggravated assault after she spit and kicked an emergency medical technician who had responded to a Bloomsbury house on July 4, 2016, to help her after she had been cut. Berger also kicked a second EMT, it was previously reported. Berger had been living in Greenwich Township at the time.

Both were treated at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township, as was Berger.

An arrest warrant for Berger was issued on Oct. 31 when she failed to appear in court. Her last known address is Bloomsbury. Berger is 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
