Man convicted of having fake driver's license arrested, police say

READINGTON TWP. - A 51-year-old Millington man who served 10 months in State Prison for having a fake driver's license and driving while suspended, was arrested again by township police on Saturday, according to a police report and court records.

Jeffrey E. Kramlick was stopped by Patrolman Alex Wright at 9:46 a.m. on Summer Road because the registered owner of the Jeep he was driving had a suspended driver's license, police said.

Kramlick's driver's license was also suspended, and there was a traffic warrant for his arrest issued by Branchburg, police said.

In 2015, Kramlick was released after serving 10 months in jail after having been found guilty of fourth-degree possession a fake New Jersey driver's license and fourth-degree driving a vehicle during a license suspension, according to court records.

He had been indicted by a Hunterdon County grand jury in 2014 after having been arrested in the township on Jan. 12 of that year, according to previous reporting. He had two prior drunk driving convictions, resulting in his license suspension, it was reported.

During Saturday's arrest, he was charged with driving a vehicle during a license suspension, a fourth-degree offense because it was his second violation, and issued traffic summonses for driving while suspended, failure to have interlock device installed, being an unlicensed driver and failing to possess insurance, police said.

Kramlick was released with summonses to appear in court after a family member posted his bail, police said.
