Teachers from around the Lone Star State can hang out at the San Antonio Zoo for free all of February in honor of Educator Appreciation Month.

Any educator teaching pre-K through 12th grade in a public, private or parochial school in Texas can enter the zoo at no cost with up to four friends, who will receive 50 percent off admission.

To get in, teachers will need their driver's license and one of the following items: a copy of their teaching certificate, a pay stub from their employer or a photo ID or badge from their district or school, according to the zoo's website.

On their Facebook page, zoo officials clarified that homeschool and university teachers are not included in the promotion.
