With a screenshot from a video game, Russian Defense Ministry has tried to prove that US is cooperating with terrorist organization. The ministry, as "indisputable evidence" on Facebook and Twitter, posted five photos from Syrian-Iraqi border region, which were supposed to prove ir cooperation. The ministry had described widespread recordings as proof that " USA is-combat units offer protection". After a few hours, Ministry of Defense deleted images and spoke of an external employee's mistake. Neverless, Ministry remained in his reproaches and replaced alleged evidence with new photos, which are intended to prove a cooperation between USA and IS. It was a "fixed fact" that US command refused to attack an IS convoy near Syrian-Iraqi border on 9 November.

In past, Russia had already accused government in Washington of only "faking" fight against IS in Iraq and leaving jihadists to neighboring Syria, where US and Russia stand on opposing sides. The Pentagon rejected accusations.

In a similar case, Russia's President Vladimir Putin, according to Russian media, had reported footage of battle of US military against Taliban in Afghanistan as images of successes of Russian air force in Syria. The Kremlin also rejected se accusations.
