BBVA will allow its clients to request money at home through the Post Office

MADRID, 18 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) -

BBVA has implemented a service in its application for mobile devices so that its clients can request cash delivery to their homes through the Post Office, as reported by both companies in separate statements.

Customers could request a maximum of 499.99 euros per day, with availability throughout the national territory. You can also choose whether to choose the money in the office or at home, for which it will be made in the home linked to the account at the time of the request and cannot be modified during the management of the operation.

If the customer is not at home at the time of delivery, they can collect the amount from the next business day at any computerized Post Office office. The customer has up to 7 calendar days before the request expires.

"At BBVA we maintain our commitment to improve the lives of our clients, whether through the 'app', in offices, or in this case with this new service with which they can have cash at their own home, improving the service that we provide throughout the national territory, offering a convenient, agile and secure experience," said BBVA's country manager in Spain, Peio Belausteguigoitia.

In October, BBVA launched the Correos cash service to withdraw cash in the 2,400 Correos offices, while in January the possibility was expanded to almost 2,400 rural offices.

In February, CaixaBank implemented a similar service alongside the post office, although in its case through a phone call.
