Fetico, after challenging the Inditex employers' agreement before AN, will be part of the negotiation table

MADRID, 10 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) -

The Fetico Independent Trade Union Confederation will finally be part of the negotiation table for the new agreement of the textile employers' association Asociación Retail Textil España (ARTE), which is made up of Inditex, Mango, Primark and H

Specifically, after a summer of uncertainty following the expulsion from the negotiating table of this new textile collective, Fetico presented a collective conflict claim to the National Court for protection of freedom of association, which has finally been resolved with an agreement to incorporate the union to the negotiating table.

A few weeks ago, the new textile employers and unions began negotiating the new national agreement that is aimed at large groups or commercial chains in the textile sector (including textiles and footwear, clothing, other accessory elements and household products) that have a total physical sales area of more than 3,500 square meters nationwide, physical stores in at least three autonomous communities, or have more than 400 employees.

The general secretary of Fetico, Antonio Pérez, was pleased to be present at the negotiation of the first state collective agreement in the textile and footwear trade sector. "Our model is dialogue and with dialogue this conflict has been resolved. For us nothing changes, we will continue to support the rest of the unions in building a great agreement between all of us," he indicated.

Fetico recalled that it is the union that has grown the most in recent years, becoming a new union operator, but common in multiple negotiations and forums, since it has a presence in companies such as Telefónica, Más Móvil, Inditex, Tendam, McDonald's, Apple or Amazon, among others.
