ATLANTIC CITY -- A person was shot and killed Sunday night in Atlantic City, according to a report.

The shooting took place near the corner of Oriental and New Jersey avenues around 10 p.m., according to PressofAtlanticCity.com.

The identity of the victim wasn't immediately available.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said additional information would be released later Monday. 

On Saturday night, a 54-year-old Atlantic City woman was killed and a 52-year-old Pennsylvania man was injured in a stabbing in a home on North Harrisburg Avenue.
