Vineland woman indicted for attempted murder for shooting, court says

BRIDGETON -- An 18-year-old Vineland woman was indicted Wednesday for attempted murder after shooting at a car during a drug deal, according to authorities.

A Cumberland County grand jury indicted Kaitlin M. Cunningham, 18, of South Union Road, on charges of attempted murder, weapon offenses and marijuana possession, court records state. She remains in the Cumberland County Jail.

According to Vineland Police Department, Cunningham was at a residence on the 3000 block of Mays Landing Road on Oct. 7 for a drug deal when there was a confrontation. She then shot a handgun at a car containing two people.

She was with juveniles at the time, police said.
