HORECA Baleares this 2023, has managed to consolidate its three editions Mallorca, Ibiza, Menorca becoming a benchmark for the professional sector, with resounding success of participation showing more than a thousand professional brands in its three events. The sixth edition of HORECA Mallorca concluded with the attendance of more than 16,000 professionals who visited the exhibitors at the Velòdrom de les Illes Balears on February 6, 7 and 8, in which they offered the latest technology, local products, showcookings, championships and everything involved in the hotel and restaurant sector. The best national and international chefs were present at the activities, who bet on local and km0 products in their performances. Mallorca, had the great opportunity to receive the chef with the most Michelin Stars in Spain, Martín Berasategui, to whom a very moving tribute was paid to recognize the great work he does and has done over the years to position himself as the chef with 12 Michelin stars.HORECA Ibiza, closed its second edition with a total of 6,300 professional visitors, thereby consolidating the fair as a benchmark for the gastronomy, hospitality and tourism sector in Ibiza. The main key to the success of the event was the commitment of professionals for updating its news in the presentations of the fair and the complementary activities that the organization carried out on its main stage, in which Koldo Royo, gastronomic advisor of the event, coordinates all the performances of the stage. In Ibiza, he presented 3 recognitions to cooks from the Pitiusas Islands, and honored the Michelin Star chef of the first Bulli, Carles Abellán, who has a restaurant in Formentera.
