Middle East wins big victories
Smaller, high-adventure metro areas see surge in popularity
ATLANTA, Feb. 7, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Forbes Travel Guide ("FTG"), the only independent, global ratings system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas and ocean cruises, today introduced its 2024 Star Awards. See the Complete list of honorees at ForbesTravelGuide.com.
Hotel ratings expanded to new destinations, including Baku, Azerbaijan; Curaçao; Iceland; Sardinia, Italy; Kenya; Algarve and Madeira, Portugal; Rwanda; Koh Samui, Thailand; Rabat, Morocco; Mecca, Saudi Arabia; and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The 66th annual list covers more than 2,000 properties around the world. It has 340 five-star hotels, 600 four-star hotels and 503 recommended ones; 78 five-star restaurants, 121 four-star restaurants and 59 recommended; 126 five-star spas and 201 four-star spas; and seven four-star and five-recommended cruises. Below are some highlights of the 2024 winners:
