SEOUL, South Korea and MUNICH, Aug. 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Mobis (KRX: 012330) is set to outline its electrification-focused vision on the cusp of the European Mobility Show. The company is positioning itself to attract Europe's leading car companies, renowned for their exacting standards of technical excellence and reliability. The strategy is to leverage its technological prowess to generate significant orders with the goal of achieving a quarter of Hyundai Mobis' global order aspirations for this year in the European market.

Today, Hyundai Mobis announced its intention to showcase a variety of more than 20 production-ready advancements in electrification and automotive components at the IAA Mobility Show 2023. Running from September 5-10 in Munich, this event has a global reputation. due to its origins in the prestigious Frankfurt Motor Show. This marks the second year that Hyundai Mobis has attended the event, having previously debuted in 2021.

Hyundai Mobis is optimistic about expanding its presence in the European market through its attendance at global mobility fairs such as the IAA. Hyundai Mobis' target for overseas auto component sales is $5.36 billion, with Europe contributing a sizeable $1.29 billion, accounting for about 25%. An example of its push in Europe is the contract for electrification components for Volkswagen, a well-known German car manufacturer, which Hyundai Mobis recently won. This success underscores its potential for future European contracts.

Hyundai Mobis is also gearing up for the upcoming Detroit Auto Show in the United States, closely followed by the Tokyo Mobility Show in October.
