A musical comedy with different elements, a mixture of zarzuela, operetta, revue or cuplé, all from the original libretto by Vicente Lleó, a Spanish composer known for his ironic and irreverent tone and one of the best-known and most performed zarzuelas in Spain, reaching even on the big screen. The work is a biblical operetta that develops its action through one act and five scenes in which its characters intermingle to give rise to situations typical of the 'vaudeville' genre.

Milnotes recognizes that it is a company in which the zarzuelas they represent are thought of as a musical, thus managing to entertain and attract all audiences, while maintaining the text and music of the original work. A work that, thanks to its dialogues, characters and risqué songs, is on a par with Verdi's opera 'Aida', which takes place in Egypt and shows the dilemma of a love triangle.

With more than 30 shows and founded in 2001 by the actor Joan Garrido, the company Milnotes has its origins in the production of little shepherds for Les Franqueses del Vallés together with the composer Daniel Pérez. Thanks to its entertaining shows and musical productions, it is today one of the most recognized companies in Catalonia, even going so far as to open its own theater school, Espai Milnotes.

The company will continue its tour of Spain and its work can also be enjoyed on April 30 in Logroño, at the Teatro Bretón, at 7:30 p.m. and on May 1 at the Teatro de las Esquinas in Zaragoza, at 6:00 p.m.
