Madrid, February 5, 2024.- RootedCON, the largest and most prominent cybersecurity event in Spain and one of the most relevant in Europe, has awarded the third edition of the Raúl Jover Prize to Angelucho, posthumously, an outstanding professional and reference of cybersecurity at a national level. With an impeccable professional career, and known throughout the Community as 'Angelucho', he dedicated his life to protecting the most vulnerable from the dangers of the network. For more than thirty years he was a Civil Guard where a good part of him worked for the UCO Telematic Crimes Group, and after this stage, he carried out enormous work as a disseminator on cybersecurity matters through different channels. In 2013, it created the X1RedMásSegura conference, a conference dedicated to cybersecurity awareness, aimed at informing and training Internet users and network users. In this sense, taking advantage of the celebration of the Raúl Jover Award posthumously to Angelucho, which was collected by his family. This award has the objective of commemorating the commitment and support to the national cybersecurity sector, as well as its contribution to society in general.
