PARIS, Dec. 5, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- At Huawei Connect 2023 in Paris, Yang Chaobin, Chairman of the Board and President of ICT Products and Solutions at Huawei, introduced two new all-flash storage products, OceanStor Pacific 9920 and OceanStor Dorado 2100, to promote the industry vision of All Flash for all scenarios. The products have been designed to help customers build more efficient and reliable data centers.

OceanStor Pacific 9920, a scalable SSD-based storage system, leads the scalable architecture with high performance, large capacity and efficient data reduction algorithms. The product offers a single node bandwidth of 20 GB/s and an IOPS of 800,000. Support for high-capacity SSDs up to 61.44TB greatly reduces flash storage costs for businesses. In addition to high-capacity SSDs, data reduction algorithms designed for typical unstructured data scenarios significantly reduce the number of devices required and achieve 30% lower overall power consumption compared to HDD-based solutions.
OceanStor Dorado 2100 All-Flash Storage is the industry's first active-active (A-A) NAS configuration for SMBs. It is easy to use, resistant, reliable and efficient. Resources can be provisioned in just four steps, delivering 78% greater efficiency. The all-flash design results in 33% lower power consumption than hybrid flash solutions. The industry's only A-A NAS configuration tolerates three drive failures, delivering 99.9999% reliability.
Huawei's new OceanStor all-flash storage products are designed to build green and energy-saving all-flash data centers for different enterprise service scenarios and more customers in Europe, reducing customers' CAPEX and OPEX and promoting the application all-flash storage.
