This work is a French translation of the book La película de la vida, with which the writer won the El Vaixell de Vapor Award in 2016. It is also published in Spanish, La película de la vida, by Editorial SM.

The book is a story about the crisis and child poverty and was selected by a jury, along with three other works by French authors: Élisabeth Benoît-Morelli, Sophie Rigal-Goulard and Kochka. The readers' vote chose her as the winner.

With 10,100 visitors and an absolute attendance record, the literature festival was held from Thursday, February 15 to Sunday, February 18 and culminated with the announcement of the winning author of this renowned children's literature award from the Nantes municipal library.

Love Carranza

Writer, screenwriter and teacher, she was born in Barcelona in 1958. She studied History and Anthropology, and was a Secondary Education teacher. In 1986 she published her first young adult novel: Ostres tu, quin cacau!, which received the Serra d’Or Critics Award.

In the nineties he became a professional in the world of television scriptwriting, to which he still works today, and wrote numerous series and television films, some as well-known as Poblenou or Isabel.

He has published more than fifty books, most of them on children's and youth themes. Among others, the best seller Frena, Càndida, frena! stands out, of which there have already been twenty-seven editions; the trilogy The War of the Witches, translated into more than twenty-five languages ​​and awarded the Polyglot and Young Protagonist award; and Paraules emmetzinades, who has received the Edebé Prize 2010, the Temple of a Thousand Doors Prize 2011, the Serra d'Or Criticism Prize 2011, the National Youth Literature Prize 2011, the Caracas Book Bank Prize 2013 and the FADA 2015.

In 2014 she received the Cervantes Chico Prize for her entire children's and youth literary career and in 2016 she was the winner of the El Vaixell de Vapor Prize with La pellicula de la vida.
