The exonerated could not face her debts, she took advantage of the Second Chance Law and now she can return to have a quiet life

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on many small and medium-sized businesses, including Lisbeth's. In 2019, Lisbeth decided to start the hospitality business with a bar that she started with her friend. To do this, she requested three loans from the Bank: one of €19,000 to start the activity, another of €10,000 to buy the initial supplies, and finally a loan of €15,000 for other start-up expenses.

However, due to the pandemic, Lisbeth was forced to close her business, which resulted in debts with the bank, the Treasury and Social Security, in addition to a final loan that she requested from another financier to try to keep the business open.

Despite her best efforts, she eventually had to go out of business, weighed down by debt, late-night calls and messages from bill collectors. But in 2022, Lisbeth decided to find a solution to her financial problems and that's where she found a video on TIKTOK that talked about the Second Chance Law. It was then that she contacted TramiDeudas to analyze her case and begin the process to file a bankruptcy claim.

After only two and a half months, Lisbeth obtained the exoneration of the unsatisfied liability, which means that her debts of €88,590 were cancelled. According to the lawyer in charge of the case, Oleksyiv Alekseyev, "the process was especially fast, taking into account the moment in which she appeared and the current situation."

The exoneration order issued by Court No. 4 of Alicante is an important step for Lisbeth, since it means that her outstanding debts for a total of €88,590 have been cancelled.

The Second Chance Law gave Lisbeth the joy and peace of mind of not owing anyone anything, of having a second credit chance and a new life without debt. Her story highlights the importance of seeking help in difficult financial situations and considering alternative options such as the Second Chance Act.

At present, many people are facing difficult financial situations due to the pandemic and the current inflation crisis. According to Manuel Corrales, Commercial Director of TramiDeudas, the number of people who have taken advantage of the Second Chance Law in the first quarter of 2023 with TramiDeudas has tripled. "It's a law that gives people who need help a breather," said Mr. Corrales.
