CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A man wanted in connection with a shootout that killed a woman in Cleveland's Mt. Pleasant neighborhood has been captured.

Christian Mitchell, 26, is charged with aggravated murder in the Feb. 1 incident on East 140th Street near Kinsman Road.

He was arrested on an outstanding warrant about 1 p.m. Sunday and appeared for arraignment Tuesday in Cleveland Municipal Court, according to jail and court records.

A judge set Mitchell's bond at $500,000 and bound his case over to a Cuyahoga County grand jury.

Court records say Mitchell lured Derrell Odom, 33, to the apartment that day to rob him. The pair exchanged gunfire after Odom entered the home, police say.

Young was caught in the crossfire, documents say.

She suffered gunshot wounds to her chest and arm, and later died at University Hospitals, police say.

Odom suffered a gunshot wound in the hip, but has since been released from the hospital, court records say. He is also charged with aggravated murder in the case.

A Cleveland Municipal Court judge set his bond at $500,000 during a Saturday court appearance.
