ONTARIO, Ohio - Three men have been sentenced to prison in connection with the 2015 kidnapping of a bank manager and his family and the subsequent robbery of the victim's bank in a city just outside of Mansfield.

Taylor Crisman, 19, of Galion was sentenced to 37 years in prison, the U.S. Attorney of the Northern District of Ohio's office said. Crisman was the mastermind behind the November 2015 robbery and kidnapping.

Crisman's accomplices also received prison sentences, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Chris Hill, 24, also of Galion, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, and 42-year-old Sarah J. Garrett, of Bucyrus, received a 2 1/2-year sentence.

Crisman went to the Ontario, Ohio home of a KeyBank manager Nov. 5, 2015 and the family hostage until the manager came home. Crisman held the entire family at gunpoint overnight.

Early the next day, Crisman ordered the bank manager to drive to the bank, take a large sum of cash from the vault and bring it home, the FBI said at the time. Once the manager complied with Crisman's demands, Crisman called Hill and told him to pick him up.

Crisman, Hill and Garrett gathered on Nov. 6 to count the cash, according to court documents. The trio got away with $194,845 from the bank, and authorities were able to recover about $170,000.

"These defendants deserve every single day of these prison sentences," U.S. Attorney Carole Rendon said in the release. "They terrorized an innocent family all for greed."
