According to the federal prosecutor's office, the suspect himself had participated in attacks on two schools and a village, killing several people.

In Upper Bavaria, German authorities arrested a suspected member of Nigerian terrorist militia Boko Haram. The investigating judge at Federal Court of Justice in Karlsruhe issued a warrant. As federal prosecutor's Office has shown, it is first arrest of a Boko-Haram member in Germany.

The 27-year-old seats for membership in a foreign terrorist association in custody, it is said by federal prosecutor's office. The man is suspected of having joined 2013 Boko Haram and participated in attacks on civilians.

According to arrest warrant, man himself stated that he had been involved in four attacks against Nigerian civilian population during his one-year membership as a fighter. In case of two attacks on schools and an attack on a village, he himself should have killed several people. He was also to have participated in anor attack on a village. Boko Haram members had taken girls hostage and burned down a church.

Boko Haram is one of deadliest terrorist groups in world and is allied with Dschihadistenmiliz "Islamic State" (IS). Toger y fight for establishment of an Islamic God state in majority Muslim norast of Nigeria. According to federal prosecutor's Office, organization tries to achieve this in particular through targeted killings, hostage-taking and kidnappings. The terror is systematically opposed to representatives of Nigerian state and also to civilian population.

At end of year re had been several military operations against Boko Haram in Nigeria. According to military figures, more than 700 people were able to free mselves from captivity, especially farmers, fishermen and ir families. They had been held by Islamists as working slaves, y shared military. In addition, almost 1,000 Boko-haram-fighters would have surrendered.
