The Dutch Max Verstappen (Red Bull) achieved the best time of the 2nd free practice session of the Grand Prix of Styria, 2nd round of the world Championship of Formula 1, Friday on the Red Bull Ring (4,318 km), Spielberg (Austria).

He moved ahead of the Mercedes of Finn Valtteri Bottas of 43/1000 only and the Racing Point of the Mexican Sergio Perez, the fastest of the first session, and the Canadian Lance Stroll of respectively 217/1000 and 581/1000.
