Patriots celebrity diehard Mark Wahlberg swears his mid-Super Bowl exit doesn’t mean he’s a fair-weather fan.

The Boston native, who attended Sunday’s game in Houston with wife Rhea Durham and sons Michael and Brendan, took to Instagram hours after Tom Brady hoisted the Lombardi Trophy for a record-setting fifth time to explain why he and his family bailed out of NRG Stadium two quarters early — missing the Patriots’ historic comeback.

“I had to leave the game early because my youngest son wasn’t feeling well. Trust me, I would have loved to be at the stadium — but family first. Doesn’t mean I don’t love my Patriots too!” Wahlberg wrote.

Wahlberg was trolled on Twitter after footage surfaced of the actor leaving the venue during the third quarter as the Falcons held a seemingly insurmountable 28-3 lead over his beloved Patriots.

“Typical bandwagon fan,” one user tweeted.

“Loser!!!! Never give up on your team!!!!” wrote another.

“Mark Wahlberg leave game shows his true inner cycle towards his so called Boston bandwagon, he dumps them. HE IS A FAKE,” shared one user.

Brady, whom Wahlberg recruited for a cameo in “Ted 2,” completed 43-of-62 pass attempts for 466 yards and two touchdowns, earning Super Bowl MVP honors after topping Atlanta 34-28 in an overtime win.
