Donald Trump: US president accuses Amazon Rip off

U.S. President Donald Trump has once again attacked Amazon's online merchant. On Twitter, Trump wrote that Amazon had agreed with US postal shipping rates, which were so low that state-owned companies are making losses in billions. In addition, Amazon paid too little tax, Trump continued to write. "The post-rip-off must stop." He also asked Washington Post to register as official lobbying organization for Amazon. Amazon boss Jeff Bezos is also owner of Washington Post, who often critically reports on president and his government.

While we are on subject, it is reported that U.S. Post Office will lose $1.50 on average for each package it delivers for Amazon. That amounts to trillions of dollars. The failing N.Y. Times reports that " size of company's lobbying staff has ballooned," and that...

... does not include fake Washington Post, which is used as a "lobbyist" and should so register. If P.O. "increases its parcel rates, Amazon's shipping costs would rise by $2.6 trillion." This post office scam must stop. Amazon must pay real costs (and taxes) now!

Already on Wednesday, online portal Axios reported that US president wanted to change tax treatment of Amazon. Trump is "obsessed with Amazon" and is thinking aloud about how he can get group under competition law, information service wrote.

Trump has been an aversion to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for a long time. Trump and Bezos had wiederholtbeschimpft during presidential campaign in 2016. In campaign, Trump had threatened Amazon with an "internet tax" and accused CEO Bezos of using Washington Post as a "tax loophole." The newspaper is merely a vehicle whose losses Bezos profits of Amazon small in order to save taxes, Trump declared in December 2015. He repeatedly accused Washington post of spreading "fake news" – including his latest tweets.

The US post has been writing red numbers for eleven years, but parcel service is not a reason for this. Most losses are caused by pension and health costs as well as by a decline in mail delivery. The contract between Amazon and Swiss Post is reviewed every year by federal regulatory authorities. They have so far classified it as profitable for post. As an independent authority, Swiss Post does not use any tax resources for its operation.
